Französische Friedrichstadtkirche

  • The French Friedrichstadtkirche is a church on the Gendarmenmarkt in the Friedrichstadt in Berlin's district Mitte of the district of the same name . It was built at the beginning of the 18th century by the Berlin Hugenottengemeinde . It was designed by the architect Jean Louis Cayart (1644-1702) and completed by Abraham Quesnay (1660-1726). It is structurally connected to the French Cathedral , a tower built nearly a century later. Today, the church serves the French Church in Berlin and also the Protestant local church as a place of worship. (wikipedia.org)
