How can I submit materials to the OpenDCL?

The first step is to talk to one of our staff in LATIS about your materials or project. We are here to help you think through the best ways to share and archive your important content.

The OpenDCL can feature just about any digital file format including images, videos, audio, 3-D objects, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDFs, and more.

There are myriad ways LATIS Digital Imaging Services can help you. In addition to maintaining the OpenDCL, LATIS  provides digitizing and imaging equipment and software in a lab environment, and staff services to the College of Liberal Arts. In our digital imaging lab we have capabilities for 35mm slide scanning and flatbed scanning, and VHS and DVD conversion. In our Advanced Imaging Service for Objects and Spaces (AISOS) lab we offer various methods of 3D scanning and modeling, 3D printing, high-magnification 2D imaging, and Augmented and Virtual Reality exploration. We can offer multiple levels of support, from self-service to full-service, depending on the needs of the project.
