Work Title:
The Ludwig Erhard House (LEH) is located in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg. The LEH was designed from 1994 to 1997 by the British architectural team Nicholas Grimshaw & Partner. The construction was carried out by a consortium consisting of Friedrich Krupp AG and Max Bägl . On September 21, 1998, the house was inaugurated. A total of 15 elliptical arches, up to 38.6 meters high and 61.2 meters wide, form the basic structure of the building. The hochschwingenden steel arches, the paw-like supports and the " scaly " facade should appear to be an armadillo. The IHK Berlin (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Berlin) and the Berlin Stock Exchange are located here. (wikipedia.org)
