Civic Offices on Wood Quay (Dublin, Ireland)

    Comments:
  • Wood Quay is a riverside area of Dublin that was a site of Viking settlement. Dublin Corporation acquired Wood Quay gradually between 1950 and 1975, finally announcing that it would be the location of their new offices. Most of the quay is now entirely occupied by Dublin City Council's Civic Offices. Dublin City Council is the authority responsible for local government in the city of Dublin in Ireland. Their meetings are held in Dublin City Hall but the offices of the chief executive and other administrative staff are based in the Civic Offices on Wood Quay. It was designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects. (wikipedia.org
