Sidon's Sea Castle (Arabic: قلعة صيدا البحرية) was built by the crusaders in the thirteenth century as a fortress of the holy land. It had been previously a Phoenician temple and palace. It has suffered extensive damages over time. Today, the castle consists primarily of two towers connected by a wall, and the structure is connected to the mainland by a narrow 80m roadway.
